Why Do So Many Gifts Feel the Same?
Candles, mugs, generic gift sets, and novelty toys can feel predictable before they’re even unwrapped. Their novelty may fade quickly, and many end up tucked away or forgotten after the holidays.
Same old ideas
Candles, mugs, and standard gift sets can feel repetitive year after year.
Excitement that fades
Novelty toys can lose their appeal soon after the first burst of excitement.
Easy to forget
Many familiar presents end up tucked away and rarely used after the holidays.

Thoughtfully Designed. Made to Grow.
Every page of your plantable calendar brings together botanical artwork and seed paper designed for a second life. Discover the materials, seed selection and quality considerations behind the planting experience.
01 / SEED PAPER & GROWTH
Seed Paper Designed for Growth
Our seed paper combines embedded seeds with biodegradable paper fibers. When planted in suitable conditions, the paper absorbs moisture and gradually breaks down, allowing seeds to begin germinating.
Biodegradable paper is designed to break down over time. Growth depends on seed variety and growing conditions.
02 / SEED SELECTION
Careful Seed Selection & Germination
A rewarding planting experience starts with thoughtful seed selection. These are key considerations when evaluating seeds for a plantable-paper product.
- Variety suitabilityChoosing varieties for the intended planting conditions.
- Germination performanceEvaluating seeds under documented test conditions.
- Early growth assessmentObserving seedling development and consistency.
Germination results can vary with seed variety, storage, moisture, temperature, light and soil conditions.
03 / QUALITY CONTROL
Quality Control & Testing Considerations
Quality assurance may include reviewing seed-paper materials and production conditions, with attention to the factors that can affect the planting experience.
- Germination performanceAssessing normal seedlings under specified conditions.
- Post-production viabilityComparing performance before and after processing when records are available.
- Controlled dryingMonitoring conditions that may affect seed viability.
- Paper compositionReviewing material specifications for the finished paper.
TEST UNITS WITH EMERGENCE
Finished seed-paper units that produced at least one normal seedling under documented growing conditions.
POST-PROCESS GERMINATION RETENTION
Germination performance retained after papermaking, drying, printing, and finishing compared with the incoming seed-lot control.
BATCHES MEETING DRYING PARAMETERS
Tested production batches that remained within the documented low-heat drying limits.
DOCUMENTED RECYCLED PAPER CONTENT
Calculated from verified dry-mass formulation records for the finished seed paper.
